  1. Coffee has always been popular, it has always been among the world’s most popular beverages ever since it became global. The only drink that beats coffee in popularity (other than water) is tea.
Coffee is popular because its’ easy to grow, so it’s very cheap and affordable, and is available in cheap instacoffee packets or as saucy hand-crafted schmuckery.

You can get a cup of coffee anywhere for next to nothing and chance are it’ll be decent at least. And if you’re the type that likes to use status symbols you can be as snobbish about it as you want and get expensive cups from artisan coffee shops.
It has always been popular, at least for a couple of centuries now, and will continue to be such because it is cheap, affordable, and helps people with that “pickup” in a legal way instead of using illegal stimulant drugs.

We all grew up with our parents drinking coffee. When I was a child my parents drank coffee all around me while I had my Ovaltine. And as we grew up and got older and needed more “energy” that our sugar-rushed childhoods didn’t need we also tend to end up getting into the habit. Coffee is here to stay and it will be here for our children and their children as well.

  2. Back in my day coffee was coffee. No flavors, no creamers, just regular and decaf. Now there are hundreds of varieties available to peak your interest. People who would never taste coffee of any kind are willing to try the new flavor. Starbucks & Barney’s made coffee trendy. Enjoy your java, cup of Joe.

  3. Hello,
Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world for a reason. Starting your day with coffee is a way to relax and indulge yourself as you enjoy every sip. The unique flavour of coffee beans can be enhanced with different roasts, grinds, and brewing methods.
For many people, coffee is the perfect way to get an energy boost during the afternoon slump. Coffee can also be your forever partner when you have to pull an all-nighter.
In addition to being delicious and caffeinated, coffee also has several health benefits. Studies show that drinking coffee regularly helps to increase your metabolism and also burn fat.
    Thanks,

  4. Coffee has always been “popular,” ever since its introduction into European society in the 17th century. I don’t know that it is more popular now than in the days of the London coffee houses of previous centuries.

  5. I used to be an avid tea drinker. Then work circumstances shifted from 8hrs on specific days, to on-call or random hours depending on management’s needs. I switched to coffee as it kept me alert longer and more quickly than tea. And most places I’ve worked have better coffee than tea (for free).
Note: My sleep pattern is awful but my employer could care less. The USA claims to have work-life balanced jobs. We don’t. We have 25% life balance and 75% work. I blame computers. Employers seem to treat human employees as if they are computers…never require sleep, time off or food. I’ve had employers call me on my vacation wanting me to fill in for whoever..NO! NOT my problem, you gave/approved my 2 weeks off, so call someone NOT ON VACATION! I quit that job the second week of my vacation due to a 2nd call at bloody 5AM.
