  1. I have to honestly say I’ve had Starbucks coffee ONCE and NEVER again. I very much disliked it. So I frequent Dunkin’s everyday. I think they really have great coffee. Now I’m not hating on Starbucks. I just wasn’t interested personally in spending more there for something I didn’t like. I’m sure you will get many answers on this as Starbucks is quite popular. This is my opinion only of Starbucks.

  2. I’m not a Starbucks fan, but it is sometimes unavoidable. What I do is avoid the drip coffee altogether, and get an Americano with an extra shot. Basically a double espresso, diluted to the strength of coffee. I always get it in the smaller cup (whatever they call that) so that it’s not too watered down.

If you are there at Starbucks, you may as well just have a double espresso. One pack of sweetener will kill any bad taste, and/or you can drink it down in a few seconds. Sure beats sipping a lousy cup of coffee!

  3. Even our lightest roast at Starbucks is darker than a regular Dunkin. In my experience, the drink that has most pleased DD coffee drinkers is a cup of Veranda blend made on the pourover brewer or from the regular brewer if your store serves it at that time. Veranda is a light tasting coffee and is quite mild.

  4. I would say our vanilla iced coffee with cream? But I’m not sure because Starbucks uses different coffee then Dunkin Doughnuts

  5. The whipped cream had dissolved into the beverage when I took my first taste, and all I tasted was hot cocoa. It wasn’t rich hot cocoa, with debauched chocolatey flavors, yet something more like Swiss Miss. It was dull and tasted a greater amount of milk than chocolate, and there was not a single espresso flavor in sight.

  6. Ask for the blonde roast. It’s a lighter flavored coffee, more like Dunkin’ Donuts Coffees. If you prefer flavored coffee, I’d suggest asking them to ask vanilla.

  7. Starbucks has a distinctive roasted flavour. I think the caramel machiato might be close to a dunkin caramel but you might have to order extra cream and caramel!
