  1. Caffeine is my only drug. Coffee is my delivery mechanism. I would miss the morning aroma and the taste if it were gone. I’ve noticed in the past if I go a day with out it, I would be in withdrawal – headaches, tired jittery. I like it strong, dark and no creme, sugar or any other flavorings. This would be nearly as bad as having an orange bozo as president.

  2. Prepare for war. Caffeine is a powerful addiction. Ive seen grown men knock women to the ground to get to another pot of Coffee. Truck drivers, and farmers run on coffee, which means this country getting fed is contingent on Coffee being available. There are things we use everyday that we could do without. But coffee ain’t one of them. Just so were clear, I drink tea. Can’t stand coffee, don’t know how anyone can drink it.

  3. I would sit on the floor and cry. Then try to mix black tea, bitter chocolate and milk to try to recreate the taste as closely as possible.
I’d probably also drop out of college.
Since this was written at almost two a.m. I am praying all the gods that there is some left for tomorrow morning.

  4. I would plant some since you didn’t mention the world running out of coffee beans. I know I would need some green coffee beans. I wouldn’t try to grow a vineyerd with raisins, after all. Although I store plenty of coffee, in reality, I know the world is not running out of coffee before or after Armageddon, so I would know this would be but a dream, not a Nightmare, because I don’t drink enough coffee for it to be a bad dream, so,”Frankly, Baby, I Don’t Give A Damm. I’ll drink my Dr. Peppers, & my various types of Whisky & Brandy..,, or a nice glass of wine, “Maybe, I’ll have some Chianti with some Farva Beans.” Please, Don’t say,”But people don’t drink wine in the morning. Well, the world doesn’t run out of coffee either + YOU may not drink Wine in the morning…., That’s my story & I’m sticking to it, Dapper Dan

  5. Wouldn’t bother me much. I am completely insensitive to caffeine.
I can chain drink strong coffee all day and still go to sleep in a blink.
I can do that for weeks, and then stop, and suffer no adverse effects at all.
I like the taste of coffee, and of tea, but loss of caffeine will be insignificant. I can live without it.

  6. I do not drink coffee that much. My consumption of coffee is limited to a few cups a month, mostly when I have guests or when I am working really late and I know I can’t stop until some more hours.
So if the world ran out of coffee, I’d do fine.

  7. I would switch to ground flax seeds since they give me a pick me up maybe more than coffee. I would really miss the taste of a cup of coffee…

  8. I have an apocalypse stash of coffee. I would have roughly six months after the world ran out of coffee before I ran out. I know I totally sound like Dwight from the office right now.
So with that said I would either be very rich and very grumpy without coffee or I would still have some coffee.
I would figure out another plant from which to extract caffeine.
There is no way around it. At some point this would happen.

  9. I drink two cups a day. See ‎Amir E. Aharoni (אמיר א׳ אהרוני)‎’s answer to How do you drink your coffee or tea? I don’t even remember the last time I missed drinking two cups of coffee a day—it was definitely more than two years ago. Two cups, no more, no less.
At the moment, I have a stock of 4kg at home. I could run with that for about four months.
Then there will be a day on which I cannot make coffee. I’ll be immediately sad and distressed, because I’m addicted not only to drinking coffee, but to making it: grinding and preparing it in the Brikka.
On the next day I will very likely have a day-long headache. That’s what happened in the past every time I spent a day without having coffee. I hate these headaches, so I’ll suffer for some time, and I’ll probably miss work, but it will go away eventually.
Then… life will go on. I may end up with some other addiction, hopefully not a more harmful one.
Quite likely I’ll switch to a comparable drink. Date coffee has no (or very little) caffeine, but it is similar in the way it is prepared, so I may do that.

  10. I drink at least two cups of coffee a day. Seriously, there hasn’t been a day in the last five years that I’ve missed those two cups. If the world ran out of coffee I would probably go into withdrawal, and then spend every waking moment trying to find a good substitute for coffee.
