  1. Kazaar.
The rest of the varieties contain 50-80mg of caffeine. Kazaar contains more robusta beans and approximately 120mg.
When I was pregnant, it was the only variety that my local Nespresso store told me I should probably avoid.

  2. Caffeine content is basically the same for all flavours. Exceptions are Lungo capsules, because they have more ground coffee inside, and, of course, Decaffeinato capsules.

  3. The one where you stop drinking nespressos and reduce the waste created by their pods, and drink regularly brewed espresso or drip coffee which is far truer to the coffee real essence and tastes better.

  4. Highest caffeine content capsule is Kazaar with 120mg of caffeine per serving.
Official Nestrepsso website is a bit vague on exact caffeine content. Here is an excerpt from FAQ:
The ristretto range (25 ml) ranges from 60 to 80 mg caffeine per cup. Kazaar is an exception as it is very high in Robusta and contains 120 mg caffeine.
The espresso coffees (40 ml) range from 50 to 80 mg caffeine per cup.
The Lungo coffees (110 ml) range from 60 to 80 mg caffeine per cup.
The decaffeinated coffees contain 2 to 3 mg caffeine per cup.

  6. I don’t know Nestles formulation, but arabica coffees have about 1.2% caffeine. Lower grade robusta coffee have roughly 2.4% caffeine. If they were to blend them, it would depend on the content and percent. Unless some other ingredient is added (I would presume that it would have to be declared), it would be between 1.2–2.4% caffeine. Tea and cola generally have more caffeine than coffee if that helps with your choices.

  7. When I spoke to the staff, they always mentioned it was the Kazaar. They recently introduced a pod stronger than Kazaar but Kazaar still has the highest caffeine. I just wish I remembered the actually mg

  8. Think people below have already commented on the Nespresso own brand. I suppose the question is whether you are looking for high content or low? As someone else has answered the Kazaar is one of the strongest however the actual caffeine content of the Nespresso machines appear to roughly 75mg.
With regards to Nespresso compatible pods I have found a very high one at Podista (http://www.podista.co.uk) which sells the worlds first double shot pod – according to their site it has around 160mg of caffeine!
