Greek coffee isn’t superior to other countries, it’s just … different. You can like it or not. But since I love the saying “When in Rome do as Romans do”, when I’m in Greece I like drinking Greek coffee, although it’s rather expensive.
The true superiority lies not with ‘Greek coffee’ (which has similarities with other eastern coffee methods) but with the Frappe coffee which is 100% Greek. This is because it is not just a coffee but a means for philosophy (having it is relaxing and promotes discussion and reflection). However it is also known to promote procrastination, non-employment, loafing, never-ending political arguments, gossip and zamanfoutism (from french “je m’en fous ” , meaning “idontcareism”). So it is a double-edged sword.
Well, superior is purely a subjective opinion. I’ve never had Greek coffee (I didn’t even know there was such a thing). I’ve had Turkish coffee, Vietnamese coffee, and Cuban coffee, which are all quite good (but unadulterated, meaning without sugar or milk as some of them have).

First of all, what we call here “Greek” coffee is not Greek at all.
This is Arabian coffee. Any country has named it as its own but it is Arabic. Period.
What makes it better than other types of coffee is that the beans are not toasted as much as to become black so it is more “healthy”
Greek coffee, been invented by Greek, is the cold instant coffee (Frappé).
If there is any superiority, this is the Greek spirit 😀

“Not only Frappe, which has been around since the 50s,but the more recent variants, freddo espresso, freddo cappuccino, frapeccino, etc are purely Greek coffees that we pulled out of our a**es lol!! They’re nice and refreshing though, I’ll admit that!”
