  1. I’ve never seen this saying until now, but I like it.
    Essentially, it is an expression of solidarity that one might (jokingly) say to a grumpy coffee drinker when wishing them a happy Monday.
    To explain: Everyone hates Mondays. Since Monday is the first day after the weekend, most people don’t look forward to it, and therefore want a short Monday—i.e., a short Monday equals less time suffering.
    Plus, if you have a strong cup of coffee on a Monday morning, it’ll make you less tired and more ready to face the day.
    Short Monday + strong coffee = best-case scenario.
