What is the correct way to have tea or coffee with biscuits (cookies)? Should one dip the biscuit? What do we do if a piece breaks off and floats or sinks?
You can check the answer of the people under the question at Quora “cookies to dip in coffee“
It depends upon person to person. If someone loves crunchy biscuits, he shouldn’t dip it, and if someone loves soft biscuits, he should definitely dip.
In case of breaking off the piece of biscuit, one should use spoon to mix the biscuit thoroughly in the tea, and then take the tea.
Dining etiquette suggests to have biscuits without dipping in the tea, but convenience should be more favoured rather than etiquette, at least at home.
Such an interesting question! 😂🔥
Here’s what you can do:
Take a cup of tea, get yourself a biscuit.
Dip. See what happens. Let a piece break off, see what happens.
That’s it. You’ve got all the answers you need!
( The reason I answered so is because the question is about something very common! C’mon one doesn’t need answers to things like “How do I walk, should I keep the left fron first of the right? Is 90 degree angle w.r.t ghe ground level preferred or will 30 degree work? Such questions are best answered when you do it yourself )
And I think the person who asked to Question was expecting a satirical answer? 😂🔥👍
There is no such written way to have snacks with tea or coffee. It’s only a personal preference. I dip/dunk almost everything which is crunchy, both sweet and savoury snacks (like biscuits and chips) with my tea. In case if a piece breaks and settles at bottom, i eat it with a spoon or sometimes I throw away.
