Tonx (tonx.org). They roast fresh beans every two weeks and send them out the next day. Each bag is a different origin or blend but they are all roasted in a similar style. I like this more than having widely different styles as I don’t want to be stuck with 12 oz of coffee I don’t like. 12 oz every two weeks is about equal to what I drink so I never have to worry about running out of coffee. The team is super passionate about coffee in general and provides good resources on making the best coffee at home.
Now, I am totally biased as an investor in Tonx. It’s a tricky market since mass-market coffee is not generally what coffee snobs like to drink. That said, I get unsolicited comments on the coffee when people are over.
I’m a cofounder at Quest Coffee Club (http://questcoffeeclub.com).
We approach coffee a bit differently in that we feature only Colombian coffees, with a mixture of single origin and blends. All our coffees are roasted prior to shipping and arrive at your door within a week of roasting.
Each month’s coffee comes from a rotating list of unique farms in Colombia that give you an opportunity to explore the various regions and flavor profiles that Colombia has to offer. 🙂
