Coconut oil
MCT oil from the brand NOW Foods is the most inexpensive yet the best MCT oil that I could ever found for you.
You can easily find it on iHerb which costs $12.90. iHerb is an online store like Amazon which sells high quality skincare, supplement and dietary products at a cheaper rate. Moreover, if you wish, you can use the reward code: DBJ9452 during checkout to save extra money on your order.

I hope you will find this information interesting and helpful. Take care and God bless.
Coconut oil is NOT 55% MCT. The 55% product merely has the longest-chain fats removed so that it can be refrigerated without solidifying. It is sold next to ordinary coconut oil (both refined and unrefined).
The high concentration of lauric acid in the 55% product makes it irritate the digestive system more. I find it to be an effective purgative and plan to use it before my next colonoscopy.
SOME grocery stores also sell true MCTs on the same shelf. The price is often 50% greater than MCTs purchased from health-food stores and 100% more than mail-order prices. Why not just use Amazon?
Coconut oil’s fatty acids are 15% medium-chain triglycerides, 40% lauric acid and 45% long-chain fatty acids (virtually all saturated).
Counting the 40% lauric acid as medium-chain is itself a marketing scam.
Lauric acid is metabolized more like long-chain than medium-chain. Medium-chain can be absorbed through the stomach lining and virtually all converted into ketone bodies on first pass through the liver. For that reason, it cannot be stored as body fat.
Neither is true for lauric acid. It is absorbed in the intestines like any other fat. It CAN be stored unchanged in body fat but is more commonly lengthened by enzymes called elongases. At that point, lauric acid becomes the same as any other saturated fat.
Be aware that ketone bodies can provide major benefits to hearts that have been damaged (reduced ejection fraction) BUT not to normal hearts which directly burn fat just fine.
Ketone bodies can provide minor benefits to brain function BUT the brain does not function well when more than 30% of its calories come from ketones and 70% from glucose. Ketones help epilepsy because they SLOW nerve transmission.
Optimum levels of ketone bodies for the brain can be achieved from exercise alone. Even walking can exhaust stored glycogen sufficiently to force retrieval of stored fat and conversion of that into sufficient ketone bodies. That provides most of the mood benefit from light exercise.
Studies that gave subjects pre-formed ketone bodies provided no real benefit at all. That is largely because pre-formed ketone bodies compete with natural production. That REDUCES the burning of body fat.

Coconut oil is 55% MCT, and it’s unrefined if you get the virgin variety.
Otherwise, try amazon.com. Costco also carries it, but you can find MCT oil with similar prices on Amazon.
