  2. Among the advantages of cold-brewing coffee are……..
LOWER ACID cold -brewing brings out less of the acids in coffee, so better for sensitive stomachs, better for your teeth.
LARGER BATCHES you can brew your coffee for the week all at once.
FLEXIBLE PREPARATION since you’re making a concentrate, the strength of the final beverage can be adjusted by adding water. In addition, you can drink it hot or cold, in any quantity you might desire at the time.
INSTANT GRATIFICATION once you’ve brewed, beverages can be prepared in seconds.

  3. Cold brew coffee is just coffee. Nothing special about it’s health benefits. It has slightly less caffeine than regular coffee, but it’s coffee. And coffee is delicious, wonderful stuff. But it’s basically neutral as to health benefits. In reasonable amounts it doesn’t hurt you but it doesn’t help you eather.
Coffee is 98.5% water, and that’s good for you. Of the other 1.5%, there are several flavor compounds that give it it’s taste and aroma. There are studies showing coffee can have an anti-oxidant effect, studies that show coffee helps reduce cancer risk, studies that show it can reduce type II diabetes. But take all these lightly because there is still no definitive proof of any of this.

  4. Cold brew coffee is a concentrated form of coffee that is made by steeping coarsely ground beans in cold water for a long period. The result is a brew that is generally sweeter and less acidic than coffee brewed with hot water. With cold-brewed coffee, you can get a caffeine boost without having to deal with a bitter, acidic taste.

  5. The only advantage is that it’s stronger since it’s steeped for 20hrs before being served vs regular iced coffee is brewed than poured over ice and ready to serve. Once your are out of cold brew your done for the day. Where as iced coffee can be made consecutively throughout the day

  6. Agree that it mostly boils down to 1/ lower acidity 2/ Ease of preparation. The lower acidity really makes fruity coffees and complex aromas shine. The ease and flexibility in preparation means that if I would have my coffee shop I would probably use concentrated cold brew for most preparations that do not require a shot.
