  1. Yes, you will lose weight.
You may also dehydrate since coffee is a diuretic and you will urinate out more than you drink. You may get wicked heartburn from the acidity, not to mention gastritis from the irritation, which may manifest by nausea, diarrhea, and lower abdomen upset/pain. Too much coffee will make you a hyper jittery mess.
You will be sick and miserable feeling, and probably lose only a few pounds, much of which will be water weight from excess urination.
Better to eat about 500 calories a day less than you expend, and you will lose a pound a week. Or change your lifestyle to eat for the weight you want to be: the calories won’t be enough to sustain the heavier weight.
Go to the doctor to make sure you have no medical complications. And talk to her about what weight you need to be. Ask for a referral to a Registered Dietitian, or go online to search for one in your zip code.

  3. No, you will have less energy, and the next 40 meals you have will be stored by your body for times like this when you do stupid things and not eat for a week. So if you lose any fat in that period, you will gain twice as much when you decide to start eating again. Not to mention you lose muscle mass.
Go to a doctor, ask for a proper diet, eat right, results come IN TIME. Or call Harry Potter, no other magic way.

  4. Yes you will lose weight but is it healthy..no. Losing weight the healthy way is about curling your body with the necessary nutrition. You can’t drink only coffee for the rest of your life. Once you start going back to eating, you’ll gain the weight back very quickly.

  5. Yes you will, but you will also be malnourished, tired, weak, irritable, constipated, immuno-compromised, dehydrated and sore.
Also, you will likely put the weight back on in the same amount of time once you start eating again.

  6. No and if you did it wouldn’t be much and then when you eat again you’ll put it back on and you would be depriving your body of important nutrients.

  7. (I’ve seen this question posed by too many teens lately ONLY IF YOU ARE AN ADULT! If you are a teen or a child, your body is not capable of sustaining fasting, it functions differently than an adult body and you can harm yourself!)
Okay back to the answer – Yes, but jumping into a 7 day fast without any prep probably won’t go too well.
Start out with shorter fasts, like 12 hours. These can be overnight to reduce the discomfort of hunger. Eat your last meal in the evening, and then don’t eat again for twelve hours.
Depending on your schedule you’ll have to adjust which 12 hours they are, for example I really need breakfast, so if you are set on breakfast, adjust when you have dinner to accommodate.
When you adjust to going 12 hours without food, gradually increase that to 16 hours. That means you eat all of your food within an 8 hour period of time, and then fast for 16 hours. Again, fasting overnight can really help with avoiding the ‘hungry’ part of your day, but you may have to adjust for what works with your schedule.
While there are benefits to longer fasts, most of the benefits can be had for short-term, regular fasts.
Also, make a doctor’s appointment. It’s always best to consult a doctor, especially as we on the internet can’t possibly know what individual needs or conditions you may have. Talk to your doctor about intermittent fasting and how it can help you, and what you may need to know for your experience to be a good one.
    All the best!

  8. Of course you will lose weight if you starve yourself but you can’t keep it up and living off coffee even for a week is very unhealthy. I’d imagine you’ll feel awful. Coffee is a diueretic so you’ll lose water weight first and probably become dehydrated. That is dangerous you would want to drink water too. I don’t recommend living off coffee though, even for a week.

For people who want to lose weight by natural way (no pill, no cream) without going gym, you can check this secret tips . Since having my first child, I’ve been carrying around an extra 25 pounds. I’ve tried many diets and couldn’t make anything work. That guide just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time. That guide was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything followed it and lost 9 pounds in the first three weeks. I’m now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. Be careful with unknown pills, cream, it can affect your health seriously. Don’t try to eat less to lose weight too, it’s very danger. You need a proper diet plan to lose weight.

  10. Yes you will. But by the end of the week you’d also be close to dead. And constipated. If you want to try this You’ll need to take supplements to make sure your body doesn’t shut down. And when you start eating again you’ll gain a lot of the weight back.

  11. Losing weight is a combination of three major things – diet, exercise and commitment. Each body is different, and so is their weight loss rate in proportion to time. Many other factors impact and make your weight loss journey unique. Your BMI, gender, age, body type (Genetics) and waist-to-hip ratio are some factors that must be kept in mind while setting up your goal.
Irrespective of the above factors, lifestyle changes can always make a difference and help you achieve your goal.
    Maintaining a balanced diet
    Choosing to have home-cooked meals
    Cautiously reading food labels
    Hydrating is of utmost importance
Keeping yourself active throughout the day
Religiously sticking to a healthy sleep cycle.
