  1. Shipping is not your problem, you need somebody to clear it through U.S. Customs. Since coffee is a food product, your customs broker will need to file paperwork with FDA and perhaps even USDA. Pain in the ass for a gift, right? I recommend you bring back a Magic Microphone videoke device instead 🙂

  2. For one-off items in small volumes, my family uses FedEx.
If this is a business involving huge volumes, you could work with Li & Fung. They also help in everything from sourcing to customs.

  3. Back Office Boss (Bob) are my friends.
Being in the Philippines since 1997 and dealing every level of quality and competence. I can say Bob was a new, refreshing and effective solution to shipping just about anything.
Bob actually organized to airship my Ducati motorcycle to Taipei, not an easy task but took care of everything.
Bob also boxed and shipped multiple small/med/large size stuff I sold on ebay – all over the world.
I was surprised by the high shipping costs to export form the Philippines…but I compared Bob to the other shippers in Festival Mall. Bob was way out in front and they picked up at my house on some occasions.
There are better ways to ship around the Philippines or import to the Philippines. but, if you want to export…….call Bob.
