  4. You can have decoction of any herb and that is also called “Tea”..
Japanese still follow it,we indias also have the habit and here in south,we knew that as “Keshayam”..
Each and every herb wil serve its purpose, you can make tea with jaggery so you wil have its full purpose served..
Few varieties and its purpose I wil mention here..
    source:Siddha medicinal herbs
    1.Tulasi:
Ease inflammation and joint pain. Imagine being able to tackle stress, anxiety, and inflammation with a relaxing cup of tea made with the leaves of holy basil. As an adaptogen with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, holy basil provides all of these benefits.
    2.Ginger:
Drinking a cup of ginger tea before travelling can help prevent the nausea and vomiting associated with motion sickness. You can also drink a cuppa at the first sign of nausea to relieve the symptom. Useful in improving digestion and increasing absorption of food.
    3.Hibiscus Tea
Hibiscus tea has antiviral properties, and test-tube studies have shown its extract to be highly effective against strains of the bird flu. However, no evidence has shown that drinking hibiscus tea could help you fight off viruses like the flu.
you can also make tea from..
    Cinnamon
    Dandelion
    cloves
    Ginsing..
(kindly get a word with any siddha doctor near you who knows well about the benefits and dosage ..Don’t try having it on ur own without dosage and preparing techniques..Herbs can be dangerous as much as they are good.Cleansing and preparing them is a must.)
