  1. Honestly, I would suggest going on Pinterest . Start searching by stuff like cafe ideas, interior/exterior design, easy diy design, coffee (bla bla…). Mix and match those keywords and keep scrolling. Pin the stuff you like under categorized boards and also scroll underneath the pins you have liked, there you will see more similar content.
Because the thing is me and others can give you suggestions but at the end of the day you might have a billion tips and not all of them will speak to you. This way, you’d be able to find looks/designs that are more appealing to you personally.
Some prefer wide open, bright spaces for cafes whereas others go for that darker, warm and cozier design with a lot of wood and Edison lightbulbs etc. There are very typical hipster designs which seem to be all the craze, but you could also come up with something super original and specific, which would make you stick out and appear as more special.

  2. Strong yet tasty coffee, reasonable prices, nice ambiance, variety of milk substitutes (e.g. soy and coconut milks), quick service, and a place to sit/relax.

  3. Here is an interesting idea: make it look like a drawing. The owners of the St. Petersburg B&W coffee shop painted it white and added just the right black lines. It is an unusual perceptual experience, note how some of the lines give the illusion of stairs going up, while others have them going down.
