  1. Repeat after me until you understand it:
Bottled water is mostly tap water from another city or another well.
Bottled water is usually a scam.

I am deadly serious about this. Don’t be a sucker for dishonest marketing and advertising all your life.

  2. Tap. Tappity tap tap tap.
Making coffee makes the water hot enough to kill anything biological in it, so there’s no particular risk. You have to live in a place with really nasty water with lead and mercury in it before you are at risk making coffee with it.
In general, the answer is always tap water unless there is a boil water advisory or similar warning in place for your location as is the case with Flint Michigan, Sao Paulo Brazil and many North American Native reservations.
    But given that other quest…

  3. If your tap water has a high mineral content, it will eventually clog up your coffee maker ( some have filters which will also eventually clog). If you use bottled mineral water, you would have the same problem. Reverse osmosis water would likely have the least minerals if it is working properly, unless you count filtered rain water. Bottled water is likely to vary in mineral content. Running vinegar through the system will sometimes remove the build up of lime or calcium, but it has a strong aroma and needs to be thoroughly rinsed out. There are descaling solutions if you don’t want to use vinegar. If you try bottled water to make coffee and compare it with your tap water coffee, it may or may not have a taste difference. You might like the tap water version better or you might like bottled. Here is a link for cleaning a coffee maker, but yours might be different. Coffee Pot Maintenance: Vinegar vs. Descaler
