  1. Here is the ingredient list of Coffee-Mate: water, coconut oil (yep, it’s mostly oil), sugar, sodium caseinate, dipotassium phosphate, mono- and diglycerides, artificial flavor , and beta carotene color .
It’s not natural, so I would say no. Better would be heavy whipping cream, which is low in carbs and contains good fat.

Coffee-Mate has CORN SYRUP SOLIDS, which is just what it sounds like … corn syrup made into a solid form.
IF YOU BE A DIABETIC LIKE ME, THEN YOU NEED TO KNOW THE FOLLOWING INFO …
The govt DOES NOT recognize the solid form of corn syrup as sugar. The same is true for MALTODEXTRIN. What?! No way. WAY!
This loophole has allowed unscrupulous companies (pretty much all food companies) to market and label a product as 100% SUGAR-FREE, and show ZERO sugar in the NUTRITIONAL INFO label. I know.
As a type 1 diabetic, just a spoonful of this stuff spikes my BGL way out of range. For me, it seems to have a higher glycemic index than regular sugar.
They put this crap in just about every processed food, including baby food (along with a lot of Sodium, which will also kill you). Humans are biologically hard-wired to crave and seek out sugar
Oh, and have you seen those “sugar-free” cookies/wafers? If you don’t already know, wheat flour breaks down into pure sugar and will spike your BGL just like any sugar will … just like bread, pasta, pizza, etc.
I dunno how they can get away with this. IT IS LITERALLY LIFE OR DEATH for us … like spiking an alcoholic’s drink with grain alcohol. Grains are vegetables and veggies are good for you, right?
Is it a Conspiracy Theory? No. THESE ARE VERIFIABLE FACTS. Don’t take my word on it. This is the Interwebs … DON’T TRUST NUTHIN you find online. But, you can FACT-CHECK.
Yes, Look it up on the very tool that I just recommended NOT to trust. I usually include the word SCIENCE or RESEARCH in a google search. Even then, you cannot blindly trust every research trial on record. Many have been dispro…

  5. No creamer in that class is good for you, especially the flavored versions. You’re better off using half and half and stevia in your coffee.
