  1. No, not really. Blonde roast is just coffee that is lighter roasted than the traditional Starbucks Full City roast. They also say they it the beans from Latin America and East Asia, whereas traditional espresso comes from Latin America and Africa. So slightly different beans means slightly different flavor.
    The term Blonde Roast, as far as I can tell, is a term Starbucks coined for this lighter roast coffee. I’ve never run across it in 30 years in the coffee business.
