    Startup costs could be high depending on the location in which you do business. Check out licensing fees, local taxes, and regulatory requirements.   3. Yes and no. It cost about $0.80 to produce a latte and you sell them for about $5-6. So the mark up is there. But you have to hit volume to bring income in. To keep $5k, you’ll need to make $6.5k/month ($6500/5.50 per latte = 1181 cups per month. Round up to 1200 cups/20 working days per month = 60 cups per day. Or 10 drinks an hour for 6 hours.)
