I’m really scared. I drank a bang energy drink and I’m shaking. I’m only 13. What should I do? I’m literally freaking out.

  1. Tell your parents. So they can help. Also just in case you might die they can start planning your funeral. Tell them how you want it or your wishes.

  2. Hey, you’ll be fine. It’ll wear off in a few hours. Don’t get too worked up, just relax lol. A bang is equivalent to 3 cups of coffee, which is the daily limit. Drink some water to help the jitters go away 🙂

  3. Eat some bread to soak it up and have some protein too. If you’re just shaking, that’s ok. It’s a lot of caffeine. If you feel sick and wrong, maybe call poison control. I had hypoglycemia once and I was hungry and then my body told me something was not right AT ALL. I tried some cheese and it didn’t help and then I had some Skittles, and they were the best tasting food I’ve ever had. And I started feeling better quickly. I tried the Skittles again later and they were the same old boring Skittles.
But yeah, don’t have more than 50mg of caffeine at a time. I had a Rockstar today that had 300mg! But I’m old and got slowly used to it. And I weigh a lot.

  4. So alot of these answers are false. Bang energy has no sugar and contains no guarana. So that is false. Actually bang is way safer than other energy drinks in the facts it harnesses COQ10. A naturally occurring cell stimulant. No one has died from bang like people have died from monster energy drinks and red bull energy drinks. Your just not used to caffeine. Which the warning label clearly states it contains. Just saying people should research their factual evidence before commenting and giving advice.

  5. Caffeine can have that effect on people.
I once took tablets with caffeine, never again, was a horrible experience.
Just know in future that it makes you feel that way and don’t drink that stuff again.

  6. One time I had too much caffeine when I was younger and I went to the ER. They didn’t do anything at all…not even an IV. Yes, gotta wait till it passes and maybe hydrate sufficiently with a lot of water.

  8. Drink some more fluids and don’t worry too much. You will not like this feeling, nor should you like this feeling. It is the effects of too much caffeine. You likely will not sleep very well tonight.
Learn the lesson and do not repeat it.

  9. Sweetheart, freak out later. I think you should call a poison control phone line right now, to ask them about it and what to do. Will you let us know how you are later?

  10. The effects should likely pass after a while.
Energy drinks have a high dosage of certain legal drugs, including caffeine, that can cause such effects.
I personally don’t like the idea of energy drinks, because I understand that the concentration of caffeine is larger than in a cup of coffee or tea.
Personally, I might be immune to it, since I often drink coffee.
Anyway, if you get any severe symptoms, you might want to talk to your parents or equivalent, about consulting a doctor.

  11. Just go with the flow. For instance, I drank a red bull last night before bed and I had some scary dreams, I was lightheaded and falling sideways. But yes. Its gonna be a fun ride for sure. Do homework and listen to lofi music or do anything with music. It’s the only way to calm down

  12. You got caffeine jitters. It’s normal. Usually last for 6 to 12 hours. Take more water and drain the caffeine out of your system. Don’t take coffee or tea for a day.

  13. If you don’t have any allergy conditions/feel really sick you should be fine, just drink some water, I had a monster energy this morning with some water and cereal and I’m fine, so just eat some good food and drink a good amount of water and you should be fine. (I’m also 13 but drink energy drinks in reason, like 1 a week and such)
