Coffee is a drink that has been around for centuries. It’s one of the most popular drinks in the world and with good reason! Coffee offers energy, mental clarity, and health benefits.
But if you’re like me, you might find yourself drinking coffee on the go more than at home where it tastes best because it can be hard to brew a great cup of coffee when you’re pressed for time or don’t have your favorite equipment handy.
Enter: Coffee Concentrate Syrup! This all-natural blend includes just four ingredients: organic sugar cane juice; organic dark roast ground coffee beans; pure vanilla extract; and cinnamon (optional). All those yummy flavors together make an awesome way to get your caffeine fix when you’re on the go!
1. What is Coffee Concentrate Syrup and how do you make it?
Coffee concentrate syrup is a blend of sugar, coffee beans, spices, and sometimes vanilla extract. It should taste delicious on its own but it can also be added to other drinks or recipes for additional flavor.
To make your coffee concentrate syrup at home just add 1 cup of ground coffee beans to 1 cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes. Strain the coffee grounds out using a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth (if you want to avoid getting coffee grounds in your drink).
I like to make mine strong by also adding an extra 3/4 cup of water to the mix! Once it’s cooled, store it in an airtight container where you can keep it refrigerated until ready to use.
2. How does it taste, what ingredients are in it?
Coffee concentrate syrup is really tasty on its own, but I find that when added to coffee or iced coffee it takes on a richer, spicier flavor. It tastes delicious with almond milk in my opinion! Some of the spices available are pumpkin spice, vanilla bean, and holiday blend.
3. Why should I drink coffee concentrate syrup?
There are tons of reasons to drink coffee concentrate. It’s healthier than the sugar-loaded, overly processed drinks that are sold at cafes or convenience stores.
For example, the recommended amount of added sugar is just 6 teaspoons for an entire day, but one can of soda contains about 35 grams of sugar! Coffee concentrate also has some health benefits on its own. Studies have shown that it may help blood glucose management; prevent cavities; reduce inflammation; alleviate pain; and more.
Where can I buy it ?
You can buy coffee concentrate syrup at most health food stores or online through Amazon.
Coffee concentrate syrup is a unique and delicious way to get your caffeine fix when you’re on the go! It tastes great, has some health benefits all its own and it’s easy to make at home.
