  1. Starbucks in Palo Alto, Silicon Valley Bay Area we charge 16 dollars per traveler. We appreciate 24 hour norices and I promise you will receive fresh coffee. If you buy a traveler on a short notice we will still give you fresh coffee but…
If you buy a traveler and demanding it to be done ASAP while it’s busy and you are being impatient I promise you that the Barista will give you old coffee that has been sitting there :). I’m just saying, it happens.

  2. I live in North Texas, the price of a coffee traveler here after taxes is about 18.50. Agree with all other answers saying to give a days notice. It’s always best to call the day before so the baristas can sequence in your special gallon of coffee while still being able to serve our daily customers at our normal speed. An on-the-fly gallon of coffee is not only bad for you (in being you will have to wait longer than you expect and it may not be the best of quality) but it forces other customers to wait as well. Everyone can be prioritized by calling ahead. I would even recommend calling 30 minutes before your scheduled pick up time just to check and make sure the message of your Coffee traveler order was effectively passed along to the next days supervisor. I know there have been occasions where a supervisor receives a coffee traveler order during a busy time and they forget to make a note. Just always remember your baristas are people, we never intentionally forget about you or want you to have a bad experience. Be understanding when mistakes are made, you being calm helps us stay calm! ❤️

  3. My understanding is that it depends where you are. In Florida it is 16.95 but I’m pretty sure it was 19.95 when I worked at Starbucks in Washington, DC. You can start a mobile order on the Starbucks app and it will give you the total including tax before you confirm the order, so this is the best way to check. Travelers come with 12 8oz cups or 8 12oz cups (if you don’t say anything they will choose for you), a bag full of sugars and sweeteners, and a 12oz cup of creamer. All of these things are changeable upon request and they usually won’t charge you for an extra cup of milk as long as it’s not a milk alternative. Please make sure you call ahead to confirm when you will be arriving! Do not show up and order in line with the people getting regular drinks because it does take a while since there are a limited amount of coffee makers.

  4. It’s 96 oz of coffee, and in Michigan it’s less than $15.00. Though I’m sure that will depend widely upon where you are from.
You’ll have enough coffee for twelve 8oz cups, or eight 12oz cups.
They can also provide you with cups, lids, cream, sugars, sweeteners, etc. Those things are all included in the price of the traveler.
As as a former Starbucks barista, I would just ask you to give yourself enough time to let them make you fresh coffee!
It usually takes about 15 minutes to work an extra batch into their standard brewing cycle. So if you’re really impatient, they’ll likely give you coffee that was already brewed, so it won’t be as fresh by the time you get to your destination.

  5. It definitely depends on where you’re buying your coffee traveler. If I’m not mistaken, my location’s traveler is around $18 and includes 12 short cups, 12 lids, cream, and various sweeteners.
