  3. Assuming a space of 150 to 200 sqft.
    About Rs. 27 lakhs ( Rs. 27,00,000)
Rs. 12 lakhs for a 2 head espresso machine and commercial burr grinder, sandwich grill, blender, crockery etc. ( try to get a refurbished machine)
Rs. 5 lakhs for furniture and fixtures
    Rs. 5 lakhs for interiors
Rs. 5 lakhs as working capital
This is a ball park figure, you do need to educate yourself about the trade and demand in your area. In a tier 2 city assuming your overheads like rentals are low, you have a good chance of breaking even. As a coffee shop is more of an experiencial concept for the younger generation your choice of location and the space is important. It’s your own passion for the business which will make it a success . Best of luck with your venture.

In Tier 1 cities the biggest overhead is the cost of space.
