I called the post office and asked for you. They said nothing inside the United States should take more than five days. (We’re talking letters not packages). One person said it really shouldn’t take more than three. So I’d hang my hat on a week.
Well it’s probably could take as long as a week. A couple of years ago the USPS stopped processing mail in Lincoln for the most part. Now all Lincoln sent mail now is transferred to Omaha where it is processed. This even includes mail sent from one Lincoln address to another Lincoln address, even if it is only a block or two away. It can take 4 or 5 days just to go to Omaha be processed returned to lincoln, distributed to the correct sub station post office and then delivered. What used to take overnight in Lincoln now take several days…….. Progress I guess
