  1. It’s as good as packed ready to eat food. If you love coffee then it’s little investment in the grinder and coffee press. Buy beans from a reputed seller. It will cost you little extra but it’s worth.

  2. I pretty much only drink coffee black, unless I have no choice. Personally I think instant coffee is disgusting, little to no flavor, watery, and less caffeine. Most instant coffees taste stale in my opinion. A decent grinder and coffee maker is a worthwhile investment, but if a lack of time is an issue then I would just as soon stop by a Starbucks, or even McDonald’s (their coffee isn’t that bad if its fresh).

  3. In my opinion there is no Good Instant Coffee, it isa low grade product of dubious origin. I have not drunk Instant Coffee for 40 years.

  4. In general, not as good as the same beans used to make conventional coffee, but it varies widely brand to brand. I’ve found that instant coffee lacks both the brighter and deeper flavor notes of brewed coffee, at least to some extent. Some of the pricier brands, such as Starbucks Via, come a little closer to acceptable flavor. At home I use cold-brewed coffee concentrate when I need coffee NOW. I just add hot water to some concentrate, and get much better flavor than any powdered instant coffee I’ve tried.
