  1. It is a question of taste….
People drink all sorts of liquids….most of them are developed tastes…
I was encouraged to taste beer…did take a few times but never liked the taste…but you know how popular it is…
Similarly I could never get used to the taste and smell / flavour of green tea…I did take black tea with sugar on a few occasions when the canteen ran out of milk in our factory and we were sort of imprisoned there (gherao is the word in Hindi)….
I take tea and coffee with milk – with or without sugar….and spicy or non-spicy at times…
I prefer generally those things that taste fruity and sweetish…

  2. One sip at a time 🙂
Its more like how one drinks Beer or Green Tea, its an acquired taste and does not come natural to most. Once you have developed the taste, you will find yourself enjoying it more than the regular cappuccino and lattes.
Quick tip to get started – Replace the sugar with a dessert instead. A muffin works best with black coffee!

  3. Could be an acquired taste to be frank. I used to always take it with sugar, but once decided to try no sugar to reduce my sugar in take. Loathed it at first but for a while now my coffee has been sugarless. Sugar ruins it for me now.

  7. I pour it in my cup. I put the cup to my lips. I let some of the coffee flood into my mouth. I savor it for a few seconds. I swallow. I repeat until the cup is empty. I may or may not go back for a refill.

  10. The same way people drink beer without sugar, they realize it’s not necessary, is typically habitual and is more about liking “sweet” than improving flavour.
