Since it’s a weight, the obvious thing to do is to weigh it. But though the scales that User-11054570985823318094 recommends are a good choice for many things, they’re far too insensitive for 300 mg. To give you an idea: a normal cup of coffee takes about 9 g, so this is a thirtieth of a cup. It’s only a tiny fraction of a teaspoon. This photo shows a weight of 340 mg.
How important is the exact weight? It’s difficult (that’s why I didn’t come closer than 340 mg). You can’t do it without scales, but this kind of scale (maximum 50 g) is relatively specialized.
