Continue to flush the system with water to remove the vinegar taste.
Fill the water reservoir and run the Keurig like you are brewing a cup of coffee, but do not insert a kcup.
Try dissolving some baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) in water, then run that through. Start with a tiny amount (half a teaspoon) of baking soda, and make sure it is completely dissolved in the water, the alkalinity should neutralize the vinegar. If it doesn’t seem to work on the first run through, try with more baking soda dissolved well in the water.
You could also try the same method with a tablespoon of ammonia in the water (I know, you’ll be worried that it’s not food safe, but water treatment plants use ammonia to treat municipal water supplies). Then you wouldn’t have to worry about getting a powder dissolved. Don’t use a lemon or lavender scented one, a clear, non-sudsy ammonia is best for this purpose. The alkalinity should similarly neutralize the vinegar.
Rinse by running clear water through several times, after either of these treatments.
Presuming this works, buy some citric acid powder for the next time. It shouldn’t leave behind a vinegar taste, but it has the acidity, when a little is dissolved fully in water, to do the descaling or cleaning you want.
