  1. They will sell you a citrus based cleaning solution that may work well. I rely on basic chemistry and use Vinegar. Most of the buildup inside the tank of a K-Cup machine (and really also works with older machines like Bunn that have a hot water tank) is a base chemically (ph less than 7). So to counteract that and dissolve it, you use acid (ph more than 7). I use 50% white vinegar in water. Then I’ll occasionally wash the k-cup holder, water reservoir (where you pour the water), and the machine in general (especially that nasty drip tray!) with soap and water.

  2. Keurig coffee machine is very modern and easy to use, besides it also has a great advantage for lazy people like me that is cleaning the machine. Extremely simple cleaning machine. Especially, some machines have automatic sanitary equipment.

  3. If you can take these parts apart, then you can clean with warm water and soap. I suggest you do this cleaning by hand instead of Dishwasher.

  4. Keurig solution or straight vinegar.
Pour vinegar into water chamber and run it through two cycles, the run it on a third cycle and turn it off mid cycle for 30 minutes.
Run vinegar once more and then probably 5 cycles of water. Until the vinegar isn’t detectable.

  5. I use their branded cleaning solution—and brew using filtered water so I only have to go through the tedious descaling ritual once a year or so.

  6. Add water: Fill the reservoir the rest of the way with water. Run the machine: Start the brew cycle without inserting a K-cup. Repeat until reservoir is empty, discarding the mug contents after each brewing cycle. This process will help remove lime and scale buildup
