  1. I don’t know. I have been taking coffee from my early childhood days…of course it was quite nutritious because of the thick milk and sugar added…
Since I am used to coffee, it did not help me to stay awake in the night for studying…so, I used to go out along with my brother and another friend for a cup of tea (that was in Chirala in the years 1961 and 1962)…still, I used to get good sleep….but managed to pass my SSLC (present day 11th) and PUC (present day 12th) with good marks.
I continued to enjoy coffee and tea throughout my life…gave them up a few times for a few days and resumed them again…because they were the beverages easily available and served wherever I went – in office, to friends or relatives houses…even to some ashrams (Swamijis did not take tea or coffee but ensured that the devotees like us got our daily supply)…
Recently, again the desire to give up tea and coffee arose in the mind…so, gave up coffee a few days ago (gave away the remaining filter coffee powder to one poor lady who is a coffee lover so that she can postpone her purchase for some time)…no withdrawal symptom, no headache…no constipation…
So, it looks as if these things come and go as per our destiny…
