  1. Believe it or not, coffee is an oily stain. The oils are one of the biggest reasons it stains so badly. White shirt? EASY. 2 parts Dawn dishwashing liquid, 1 part hydrogen peroxide. Put it on the stain and let it sit for about an hour. Wash in the hottest water the fabric can bear. It should all come out on the first try if it hasn’t been previously washed, but if it has, repeat this action until it’s gone. Its okay to rub the mixture in gently… but don’t use a stiff brush or anything that might rough up the fabric or you will always know that is where the stain was, because the fabric will be damaged permanently. Good luck to you!

  2. Removing the coffee stain from your natural white shirt may seem frustrating at first, but don’t worry! There are many stain-busting techniques you can try. We will start by taking you through some options to treat fresh coffee stains and then go to some tips to remove stubborn stains and old coffee stains.
Below are a few tips for getting coffee stains out of your white shirt.
Wipe off small stains with white vinegar.
Moisten a paper towel or clean cloth with white vinegar and rub gently at the stain. Blot the stain with a paper towel until the stain rises. If possible, hang it to dry and run it through a regular wash cycle as soon as you can.
Spot treat a Small Stain With Club Soda.
Club soda is a quick and easy way to cure small stains. Fill the material stained with club soda. Then, gently wipe the area with a paper towel until the stain rises. If possible, hang the shirt to air dry and toss in the wash as soon as you can.
Rinse large stains with Cold Water.
Work quickly so there is no time to soak in the coffee fabric. It may be easier to take off your shirt for this if you are dealing with a large stain. If you cannot take off your shirt right now, do not worry! Do your part to flush the stained area with cold, running water for a few minutes
Pre-treat the Spot With Liquid laundry Detergent.
Rub the detergent on the stain and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. Use it if you have a stain treatment product, but your regular liquid laundry detergent also works wonderfully. Cover the stain with detergent and rub gently on the fabric.
Use Enzymatic Presoak for old stains
Mix the cleaner with lukewarm water and soak the shirt for 30 minutes. Older stains from coffee spills are more difficult to remove, although they can be handled! In a large basin or bucket, mix 1 quart (946 ml) of warm water with 1 tbsp (15 ml) of enzymatic prison product. Then, dip the shirt in the solution. Put the garment out after 30 minutes to check if the stains are gone or not. If it feels good, rinse the shirt on a regular wash cycle as you normally would.

  3. Was there sugar in the coffee? That sets the stain and makes it harder to remove. If it was black coffee, apply a stain remover before tossing in the wash, and it should come right out. If the coffee was full of things nature never intended to be in your coffee ( sorry, I drink mine straight up), then apply the stain remover and try adding some Oxi-Clean or other laundry booster, then cross your fingers or say a little prayer. If the stain is still there, try it again. DON’T put it in the dryer if the stain is still visible, as that will really set the stain. My preferred stain remover is Resolve. Good luck!
