Baking soda works as an anti-inflammatory and antibacterial agent. It exfoliates your skin and makes it smooth and radiant. It is also known to prevent and treat severe dryness of the skin. Exfoliating helps remove dead cells from the top layer of the skin and gets rid of any bacteria that might be present. It also eliminates the chances of ingrown hair. Ground coffee works as a great exfoliator for the skin. When mixed with olive or coconut oil, it helps in sloughing dead cells and leaves the skin smooth and radiant. Aloe vera is a very powerful moisturizer and has excellent skin healing properties. Applying it every day will always keep the skin hydrated. Buttermilk contains lactic acid, which is a natural chemical exfoliant. It can leave your skin brighter and smoother. Keeping your skin well moisturized at all times prevents dryness and skin irritation. Shaving over irritated skin results in strawberry legs.
I ASSUME THAT YOU MEAN RED AND OR BLUE BLOOD VESSELS NEAR THE SURFACE OF THE SKIN WHICH ARE NOT ESPECIALLY NICE TO LOOK AT.THOUGH THEY ARE FAIRLY COMMON, THAT IS LITTLE COMFORT. YOU CAN CONSULT A VEIN SPECIALIST WHO CAN COLLAPSE THEM IF THEY REALLY TROUBLE YOUR APPEARANCE
WHAT are strawberry legs?
All I can think of in my mind is that I am seeing red spotted legs?
Have you dermatitis?
If so see your doctor.
I had faced the same issue in the past. I used to use an epilator from good brand for hair removal. But, I could see outgrown hair, pimples, large pores on my legs. I remember there was a time when I was used to tease with pimples as my pass time. This was leading to dark and ugly spots on my legs.
I never paid attention on using body lotion religiously. It was a winter and then I switched to pure coconut oil instead of body lotion for hands and legs as a moisturizer.
This change gradually made my skin smooth and soft. It feels a bit sticky, but within a few seconds oil gets absorbed well into the skin. My all dark spots on legs improved too. Since that day I made a routine to use pure coconut oil instead of any body lotion.
It is 100% effective tried and tested. If you are facing the same issue, please give a try and never ever underestimate the power of moisturizing and exfoliating your skin.
Strawberry legs can also appear due to improper shaving methods which can cause ingrown hairs. To prevent it, try soaking your legs ten minutes before you shave or moisturise with coconut oil beforehand. Use a cleanser with salicylic acid for a deeper cleanse to remove dead skin cells and open up your pores.
After my gf shaves, she pats her legs dry and then applies a stridex pad (the red box kind) to each leg and lets that dry for a while before applying moisturizer. It has helped tremendously, and they are really cheap! It hasn’t fully solved her problem, but it helps.
If by genetic you imply you don’t shave your leg hairs, or treat your leg skin (in any way) on a routine basis, the best remedy is most likely gentle exfoliation with a wash cloth in the shower; in conjunction with increasing your intake of nutrients that boost cellular skin regeneration (such as your basic vitamins) plus greater absorption of Vitamin D – from sunlight. Improved hydration – via increased daily water intake, is also recommended. Optimizing your health this way is your best approach. If the conditions persists, consult a dermatologist, or alternatively your local pharmacist.
You do not get rid of strawberry legs permanently, but you can manage it very easily. If you use Baiden Mitten to exfoliate your legs, you will see a marked difference after the first use and with continous usage you will have it very well under control.
Exfoliate your legs, then moisturize. Go a few days without shaving. Get different brand of razors than the ones you’ve been buying and a gentler shaving cream. Consider waxing. Ask a beautician about it.
