  1. Not bad. Higher than the recommened dose, but it won’t kill you. I guess in later life it might be an issue, but getting older seems to be one long process of giving up stuff I like to me lol.

  2. Up to 400 milligrams (mg) of caffeine a day look healthy to most responsible adults. This is the amount of caffeine in four cups of black coffee, ten bottles of cola, or two “protein blast” beverages. Bear in mind that the actual content of caffeine in beverages differs widely, especially amongst energy drinks.
Powdered or liquid-shaped caffeine in the US may have unstable levels of caffeine. Alerted by Food and Drug Control. Just one spoonful of distilled caffeine is equal to around 28 cups of coffee. These high levels of caffeine will cause serious problems in the health and possibly death.

It would all depend on your tolerance, but if you mean taking that much for life, I can’t imagine how that would be healthy for your heart.
If you have zero tolerance, then you might be shaky all day long, with a fairly rapid heartbeat.
If you have a tolerance like I do, ~300mg’s of caffeine per cup is normal. Worst case scenario, your fingers may get a little cold. But, I need a dose like this for caffeine to do anything for me. And I’m lucky to get one hour of wakefulness out of it.
I also have ADHD, so I’m sure that has something to do with my high dose.
So, 500mg’s of caffeine in a single day could be a lot for someone. It could also be the bare minimum for someone to make it through the day. And, I don’t think anyone can say for sure what drinking that much every day, for years, will do to your heart, and possibly your arteries.

    Source: Caffeine in Coffee
A consumption level of 2 – 3 cups (up to 750 ml) of coffee per day is considered to be a moderate intake. Because caffeine levels in coffee are variable, this could equate to an intake of up to approximately 810 mg of caffeine.
By comparison, 500 mg of caffeine is within the range of moderation, however if you are consuming the full amount in one go, you are taking in a dose that could be dangerous.
For healthy adults with no medical issues, it is generally agreed upon that 300 mg – 400 mg of caffeine can be consumed daily without any adverse effects.¹ The research behind this number actually bases this on a person’s body weight. So if you weigh more than the average human, you can safely consume a little more but if you weigh less than the average human you should consume a little less.

If you consider the average 6 fl.oz. (180 ml.) cup of coffee to have 60 mg. of caffeine, then that is eight and 1/3 cups of coffee which would work out to 50 fl. oz. or 1.5 liters of coffee ( as 50 x 30ml=1500 ml.).
As No Doz is the little white caplet that “ Keeps You Awake” , it has 200 mg. of caffeine in it; then you would be taking SEVEN and 1/2 NO DOZ tablets .
So that is excessive in any body’s world.

Here is an article that states the amount of daily coffee a person CAN safely drink:
“””” Multiple studies have found that a daily coffee intake of four cups is a safe amount. Even federal dietary guidelines suggest three to five eight-ounce cups of coffee per day (providing up to 400 milligrams of caffeine) can be a part of a healthy diet””””, Is coffee healthy or not? 6. Pretty bad even if you’re a generally healthy adult with no existing medical conditions. Bad if you’re under 18 years old and really bad if you’re under the age of 13.
Adolescents under the age of 18 should limit their caffeine intake to 100 mg per day. But those younger than 13 are strictly advised to avoid any amount of caffeine.
The FDA recommends a maximum daily intake of 400 mg a day for healthy adults.
Consuming more than the recommended amount of caffeine for each age range may result to:
    • caffeine addiction
    • heart disease
    • muscle spasms
    • increased anxiety
    • tremors

  8. The official recommendation is 400mg caffeine a day.
Southampton University concluded that if you drink up to 8 cups of coffee a day, you are likely to live longer. That is unlikely to be less than 500mg of caffeine.
Please note that correlation is not the same as causation, but it seems that as long as you consume your 500mg of caffeine as coffee, you’re probably OK.

  9. That s a fair amount of caffeine. But if your tolerance is high, you would be able to handle that over long periods. But if low, or you are sensitive to caffeine, you might experience a lot of the “jitters” associated with caffeine use.
