  1. Well let me share you a screenshot of an ad while I am playing one of my phone’s racing games.

    An ad for Asphalt Streetstorm.
Emphasizing the thing which you might be saying. Upgrade. Win. Repeat.
So yeah repetitive, even the advertisers tell you it’s repetitive. But the point there is Upgrade and Win, which you might not be able to do in real life.
Also there are some racing games that have really good graphics, and really fun to play, you know it’s just like life, repetitive but you gonna enjoy it.

  2. I play on xbox and used to find them boring as i didnt play on anything but easy mode as i was still a kid. However, i started getting into car culture and thought to try playing some racing games. I quickly found them challenging as ive only been playing on my controller, so i quickly purchased a cheap but well rated sim wheel (thrustmaster 458 spider). The games instantly became alot more fun to play and race and i quickly bought another wheel (logitech g920) and the game got even more fun to play. To answer your question, if you can get your hands on a good piece of kit and an interesting and challenging game, no they will not feel repetitive.

  3. I tend to find racing in games where racing isn’t the only/primary objective to be quite fun on occasion. For example, I’ve recently been playing GTA V and Just Cause 3; both of these games have optional racing side-missions that are still a huge part of the game itself. In these two examples, I’ll often find myself playing a few races at a time, before focusing on the other aspects that the game has to offer. Despite owning the Project CARS and Forza games, I suppose I do find them a bit too repetitive and focused only on the cars and racing, which just isn’t my preferred gaming style.
