  1. yes, you can, if you have a strong blender but; not recommended for a good coffee. For a better coffee, the ground pieces have to be consistent and not warm. If you grind the beans in a blender you face with a result that all pieces are not in the same size, shape, etc. Also, they get warm during grinding… If you don’t have a choice, you may use it as a last option but any type of handy burr grinder will result better taste.

  2. A blade grinder works, but is inconsistent for grind, with the exception of espresso grind; for a fine grind, one will produce a uniform grounds.

  3. For several years, the removable bottom of blender vessels had internal threads that matched those of Mason Jars. One of the marketing claims was that one could grind coffee beans in the jar, remove the blender base and switch it w/a Mason Jar lid and band. A food processor is not on the list of alternate appliances to grind coffee beans.
