If it’s the spice, absolutely. 😉
Try a teaspoon of turmeric (anti-inflammatory) with the ginger. and some nut milk (optional) for a tonic. My favorite non-dairy milk for coffee is cashew-coconut.

  2. Ginger is one of those ingredients to add to coffee that makes you wonder why, but it gives you a fantastic taste sensation and some additional benefits too. If you love gingerbread cookies, you’ll love the taste, but ginger also adds even more antioxidants to your coffee.
Ginger can help reduce the chances of heart disease and aid your digestive system, even countering the effects of your coffee on your stomach. It’s easy to add to coffee too, just take a couple of slices of fresh ginger root, or a teaspoon of ginger powder, stir it into your fresh coffee and it’s done. A spicy coffee that’s good for you too.

  3. While I am no fan of flavored coffees, I will say simply say, “Why not?” Give it a try. Might be delicious and who knows, you might start a trend. Instead of going all the way with full strength ginger right off the bat, you might want to add the gin part first. If that goes OK, add the ger 🙂

  5. In the menu of Cong Cafe- a popular chain of coffee shops in Vietnam (and Cong cafe has been already opened in Korea), there is Ginger coffee. But that is milk coffee, not black. I had it once, hot, sweet, tasted ginger and coffee. I did not really like that coffee.
