  1. I have a better one for you, the coffee berries are left out in the open, in trays, to rot away, and what does rotting, organic material attract? Right, FLIES, by the millions, and what do they do, after gorging themselves, on the available edible matter? Right again, they take a DUMP, then they lay their eggs, on the rotting mess! Our luck is that all that revolting mess, gets rinsed away, when the beans are washed, and then undergo the first drying, light roast, which gives them their green hue! So, like the Romans used to say “AD FUNDUM” enjoy quaffing your favorite brew of joe!

  2. PRE-GROUND COFFEE MAY CONTAIN GROUND UP COCKROACHES. Yes, it’s sad but true. The FDA’s own studies show that up to 10% of green coffee beans (and sometimes more) become infested with roaches and other insects. They are unable to process them out completely so they just get roasted and ground up with the beans.
